Personal Development Point Goals #2
Thursday | October 1, 2015
This week I am going to aim to complete the latest drawing I have been working in Art, along with any other work that's unfinished. I am aiming to do this because one of the goals I wasn't able to achieve last week is completing the rest of my artwork.
Another goal I am aiming to complete is my Media work. The task that has been set is to analyse three movie opening scenes for the research and planning for our final piece. The final piece is to create a 2 minute movie opening scene with the titles. So far I have completed one opening title scene analysis which means I have two left to complete. both of these tasks should take around an hour to complete.
The last goal I have set myself for this week is to film my preliminary task scene over the weekend. (This can only be completed if the weather is correct for the weather conditions I want to feature in my movie). The film will involve somebody walking though an entrance, talking to someone, and camera techniques such as the 180 degree rule. This technique means that you only film your subjects across a 180 degree angle. The easiest way to do this is to pretend there is an invisible line on the ground, and to never go over it. Another technique I will need to include is the "shot reverse shot" this will involve two or more characters having a conversation. An example of this would be to film a shot over the shoulder of a subject and then a shot of the subject facing the other character, having the conversation.
